A significant number of Jefferson County residents traveled to Washington, D.C., to attend the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Many attended the Texas State Society Black Tie & Boots Ball, a notable pre-inaugural event. U.S. Congressmen Randy Weber and Dr. Brian Babin hosted watch parties for their constituents, where attendees gathered to witness the historic swearing-in of the 47th President, Donald J. Trump.
